New contemporary single storey home.

The construction of an individually designed contemporary single storey home for clients including basement and swimming pool.

The property and swimming pool are constructed sitting on piled foundations which were required due to poor ground conditions on a hillside. The basement is formed using a re-enforced concrete shell incorporating a tanking system outside.

The construction at ground level has been achieved with the use of a steel and timber frame together with huge expanses of glass. The exterior has been finished using a “Sto” through colour acrylic render. Roof coverings are “Sarnafil” single ply membrane.

Internally the clients have made use of all the latest components and technology that is currently available e.g. lighting, audio visual systems, under floor heading throughout, ground source heat pumps, water harvesting providing a grey water system for the flushing of WC’s and outside water supplies etc.
